Pine Barrens, Warren Grove New Jersey

The Pine Barrens in Warren Grove New Jersey to search for the Pine Barrens Tree Frog. What a trip this was, I must say this was my first night time flash photography session ever. I traveled with the company of two lepodoptrists (study of moths and butterflies) Steve Johnson and my father Dr. Samuel R Smith, as well as Nathan Boob a fellow photographer and outdoor enthusiast.

Listening for the call of the Pine Barrens Tree Frog, Nathan and I would search through 4 feet of marsh and bog to get photos of this beautiful frog. Once we found our Frog models we would set up and wait for the perfect photos. Below you will see photos of this beautiful Tree Frog as well as the set ups the lepidopterists had to find their moths. I hope you enjoy
